Retro Diner
This vibrant neon-lit retro diner scene captures the nostalgic charm of classic American diners and my love for food. It features two bright red booths and a table filled with delicious diner staples, and one of my favorite elements, the tableside juke box. I modeled all of the elements in Maya, sculpted the food in ZBrush, and utilized rigid body simulations to precisely drop the food onto the plates and into the basket. I also used this technique to animate the straws in their container, used a fluid simulation to squirt the ketchup on the corndog, and particle simulations to emulate bubbles in the cola.
