This chaotic alchemy lab serves as a testing ground for various effects challenges and techniques. I explored interaction between vellum fluids of varying properties within the pot liquid. I utilized rigid body dynamics combined with stylized hand-keyed animation to emphasize movement and timing of my action. I also used vellum cloth with expanding pressure attributes to grow my giant bubble, until the moment it pops, switching over to a growth solver with stylized flip fluids for a dramatic burst. My final element included the pyro simulations, controlling the properties to build tension, suspense, and pressure, as well as the final steam releasing from the bubble as a final resolution.
