Food Cart

This food cart destruction scene was created primarily in Houdini, focusing on the intricacies of destruction simulations. Combining Houdini’s robust capabilities with Maya’s animation tools, I crafted a story of a medieval food cart vendor who is passionate about his produce and baked goods. Suddenly, a giant orange falls from the sky, sending him flying and throwing the cart into chaos. Using large fracture pieces, wood shards, dust and debris particles, pyro smoke simulations, rigid body dynamics, and vellum cloth simulations, I was able to bring this dramatic and playful world to life.
